RSV is a common virus that can cause serious respiratory illness, especially in infants and older adults.

The RSV vaccine has been shown to have a protective efficacy of approximately 82.6% to 94.6%. This is an impressively high level of protection, which would create a strong immune barrier, especially for high-risk populations like infants and the elderly.
